We proudly offer individuals handgun safety courses, including one-on-one private training, Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) and Wear & Carry Permit (WCP) certification training, plus armed/unarmed group training for security guards, agencies, and organizations.

Yacov Margolese

Founder / Lead Firearms Instructor

Yacov Margolese is a decorated U.S. Army combat veteran and retired Federal law enforcement officer with over 20 years of firearms expertise. Following the events of 9/11, he joined the military and served on the urban battlefields of Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Mr. Margolese is a certified firearms instructor, accredited by the NRA (Law Enforcement and Civilian divisions), the USCCA, and the Maryland State Police. He brings more than 25 years of experience in education and public speaking, covering topics such as physiology, body mechanics, trauma training, and firearms instruction for handguns, shotguns, and rifles.

Using evidence-based methods, he ensures clients understand how to handle firearms safely and confidently. His passion for teaching is reflected in his personalized, hands-on approach and his commitment to continuing education.
